Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
Verity is operated by Verity Labs ("Verity", "we", "us"). This policy explains what data we handle and your rights over it. We collect as little as possible.
Information we handle
- This website. The site is static and does not require an account, set advertising cookies, or track you across other sites. Our hosting provider may log standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to operate and secure the site.
- The API services. When an agent calls a Verity service, we process the request content (for example, the claim or text submitted) transiently in order to return a verdict. We do not require accounts and do not build user profiles. Submit only data you are permitted to share; do not send sensitive personal data you do not need verified.
- Payments. Payments are made on the public Base blockchain using the x402 standard. Blockchain transactions (wallet addresses and amounts) are public and pseudonymous by design and are processed by the payment facilitator, not stored by us as customer accounts.
How we use it
Solely to provide, secure, and improve the services and to comply with law. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use submitted content to train models for third parties.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing, without discrimination for exercising these rights. To make a request, email veritylayer@gmail.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. Because the services are stateless and accountless, we may have little or no personal data tied to you.
Data retention and security
We retain request content only as long as needed to return a result and operate the service, and we apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
The services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the date above when we do.
