Terms of Service
Last updated: June 27, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Verity services operated by Verity Labs ("Verity", "we", "us"). By calling a service or using this site, you agree to these Terms.
The services
Verity provides automated verification and decision-support services that an agent or application can call and pay for per request using the x402 standard (USDC on the Base network). Each service returns a calibrated, probabilistic result.
Informational use only
Verity outputs are probabilistic assessments to assist your own decision-making. They are not guarantees of accuracy and are not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for any action you or your systems take, and you should apply your own judgment and review before relying on a result.
Payment
Services are priced per call and paid in USDC at the time of the request. Because each call is fulfilled immediately, payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the services to violate any law, infringe others' rights, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the services, or submit content you are not authorized to share. We may rate-limit, suspend, or decline requests to protect the services.
No warranty
The services and site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verity Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the specific calls giving rise to the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We will revise the date above when we do.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Verity Labs is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions: veritylayer@gmail.com.
